Schokolade Puppy Chow

Looking for a snackable treat to share with friends at your next party? Check out this spin on traditional puppy chow. It's made with Chex cereal, coated with delicious peanut butter and chocolate and dusted with a mix of GanoCafe Schokolade and powdered sugar!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
1 cup creay peanut butter
6 cups Rice Chex Cereal
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup Schokolade mix

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and Schokolade. Set aside
2. Ina medium saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate together over low heat until mixture is smooth.
3. Add 3 cups of cereal squares to a large bowl. Pour 1 cup of the chocolate/peanut butter mixture over the cereal. Add 3 more cups of cereal to the bowl and then pour the rest of the chocolate/peanut butter mixture on top.
4. Stir until the cereal squares are evenly coated. If there is excess chocolate/peanut butter at the bottom of the bowl, add more cereal 1/4 cup at a time until the excess is spread evenly over the cereal. Do not add too much cereal!
5. Cool the mixture slightly in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes. Don't allow it to harden completely. Once your mixture is at or slightly below room temperature, Add 1 cup of the Schokolade mixture. Mix until combined.
6. Let cool for about 15 minutes. Add more of the Schokolade powder 1/4 cup at a time until your cereal is coated to your satisfaction.
7. Let it sit at room temperature to harden before serving. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
