Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Brownies

Tell someone special "I love you" with this special dessert! These delicious brownies are baked using GanoCafe Schokolade packed full of nutrients and antioxidants that helps the body perform at its best. INGREDIENTS:

7 oz semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped into pieces
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into quarters
1 sachet GanoCafe Schokolade
3 large eggs
1  1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1

cup unbleached all-purpose flour

TOPPING

1

cup fresh strawberries, diced

1/2

cup chocolate chips

1

Tbsp butter

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
2. Over low heat, carefully melt the chocolate and 1/2 cup butter, stirring until smooth. Whisk in the Schokolade powder. Set aside to cool.
3. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt in a medium bowl until combined. Whisk the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Then, stir in the flour with a wooden spoon.
4. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and spread the mixture with a spatula so that it is equally distributed in the pan.
5. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack to room temperature, about 2 hours
6. When the brownies are completely cooled, spread the strawberries evenly over the brownies.
7. Melt the chocolate chips and 1 Tbsp butter together over low heat. Pour evenly over the strawberries. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
8. When ready to serve, cut brownie into one-inch squares.
