Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfaits

Who can say no to the delicious combination of chocolate and peanut butter? Not us! This smooth and creamy parfait brings together peanut better, whipped cream and GanoCafe Schokolade to create one perfect treat. While this dessert may be on the sweeter side, you can still enjoy knowing it's enriched with all the healthy nutrients of Ganoderma lucidum

INGREDIENTS:

12 Oreos
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 sachet GanoCafe Schokolade
1 Tbsp hot water
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2/3 cup powdered sugar
Peanut butter cups, to garnish

DIRECTIONS:

1. Make your Oreo cookie crumbles! Place whole Oreos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form, stir with melted butter and set aside.
2. Next make the whipped cream. Add heavy whipping cream to a large bowl and use a hand mixer or whisk to beat until stiff peaks form. Add in powdered sugar and beat together until combined. Set aside.
3. Empty GanoCafe Schokolade into a medium bowl and stir in hot water to form a thick paste.
4. Stir in peanut better. Cut cream cheese into small pieces and add to the Schokolade and peanut butter mixture. Use a hand mixer to lend until smooth and creamy.
5. Gently fold whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until combined.
6. Take half of the Oreo cookie crumbles and divide into 4 serving glasses. Divide the peanut butter mousse into glasses and top with remaining cookie crumbles. Garnish with mini peanut butter cups, if desired.

Want to turn your parfait into a Halloween graveyard? You'll need a few Milano cookies and a food decorating pen with edible ink! Simply use the pen to write "RIP" on the top half of the Milano cookie, then dunk the cookie into your parfait to create a gravestone look.

NUTRITIONAL FACT:

Peanut butter is filled with a mix of fiber, protein and healthy fats that can keep you fuller longer. Although it is relatively high in calories, it can be more satisfying than other snack foods. That means curbing other cravings and ultimately cutting down on your total calorie intake, which makes it a diet-friendly snack.
